Harrison Floyd, the Director of Black Voices for Trump, was reportedly denied entry into the Fulton County jail when he arrived on Thursday to surrender himself.

Floyd is one of the 18 people, apart from former President Donald Trump, who was indicted in Fulton County for alleged inference with the 2020 election. According to conservative pundit, Laura Loomer, who is currently present outside the jail where the 45th POTUS is scheduled to surrender himself in the evening, reported that Floyd arrived at the jail to turn himself at around 2:45 pm.

“He got out of his SUV, was confronted by police, and was denied entry to the jail to turn himself in. He was seen shouting “I’M HERE! CAN I TURN MYSELF IN NOW?” He looked extremely agitated and pissed off, and appeared to be making a political statement. He then got back into his SUV,” Loomer wrote in a tweet.

Who is Harrison Floyd?

Harrison William Prescott Floyd, occasionally known as Willie Lewis Floyd III earned his education from the University of Maryland. He played a significant role in the political realm, particularly during the 2020 election period.

He was once part of the Marine Corps officer but he quickly transitioned to a political strategist. He created the group Black Voices for Trump, with the aim of boosting the support for the former president amongst Black voters.

He was charged in May for assaulting an FBI agent who was serving him a subpoena to testify before a federal grand jury in Washington, DC. He also assaulted two of the agents who served him the subpoena at his apartment in Rockville, Maryland on February 23. He was charged with simple assault on a federal officer. Floyd falsely claimed the FBI agents had not identified themselves or shown their identification after entering his house.

He has also been separately charged with violating Georgia’s racketeering act, conspiring to commit solicitation of false statements and writings and influencing witnesses in the Fulton County District Attorney’s investigation in the came case where Trump also faces criminal charges.

Floyd has been accused of arranging a meeting between Fulton County election worker Ruby Freeman and Trevian Kutti, a former publicist for R. Kelly and Kanye West. According to a video of the meeting, Kutti allegedly threatened Freeman, falsely accusing her of being involved in voter fraud.
