The House Committee on Oversight and Accountability heard from special agent Joseph Ziegler (Whistleblower X) from the IRS, who revealed that Hunter Biden should have faced tax felony charges, but the DOJ obstructed the investigation against him.

Who is Joseph Ziegler?

Joseph Ziegler is a gay Democrat married to a man, worked in the IRS Criminal Investigation Division for 13 years and testified alongside his supervisor, Gary Shapley. They claimed that the Delaware U.S. Attorney’s Office and DOJ hampered their investigation into Hunter Biden’s finances.

Initially, some Republicans questioned Ziegler’s credibility due to his sexual orientation and political beliefs, but as a whistleblower, he emphasized that his credibility stems from his IRS job experience and knowledge of agency standards.

Ziegler and Shapley stated that DOJ officials limited their investigation into President Joe Biden and his grandchildren, potentially linked to Hunter Biden’s finances.

Former Trump aide Garrett Ziegler, who implied bias against the Bidens, has since softened his criticism after learning Joseph Ziegler was whistleblowing.

The hearing also witnessed far-right Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene displaying nude pictures of Hunter Biden, adding to the controversy surrounding the investigation.
