A California woman identified as Lisa Hu who disappeared over eight years ago has been found safe, according to police reports.

Following her admission to the authorities that she was never truly missing, Lisa Hu has been formally taken off the Oakland Police Department’s missing people list. She was in her early 20s when her family reported her missing.

Who is Lisa Hu?

Lisa Hu is 31 years old. Lisa Hu went missing on December 3, 2015, she was in her early 20s, according to her family. She had a strained relationship with her mother during that time. But lately, they made up, and together they called the Oakland police to ask that her name be taken off the missing persons list.

The department came to the conclusion that Hu’s disappearance was not the result of foul play after conducting the investigation. In order to preserve her privacy, they closed the case and deleted any online content pertaining to it. According to a spokesman, Hu hadn’t been harmed or imprisoned against her will. The spokesperson did not, however, divulge any further information regarding the issue, including Hu’s whereabouts throughout the previous eight years.

As reported by CBS, Lisa Hu was last seen on the 900 block of 34th Street, which is where she was last reported missing on December 3, 2015. Her family had stated that she was in good physical and mental condition at the time of her disappearance.

Throughout Lisa Hu’s disappearance, police have not revealed her location. That being said, they have verified that she was not injured or imprisoned in any way during this period. The police officials and Hu’s family have not disclosed more information on the case.
