Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas has received a lot of extravagant gifts from wealthy friends as reported by ProPublica. 

As per media reports, Ron Bergeron counted himself among the previous visitors to Novelly’s yacht. Novelly and Thomas got the chance to visit Bergeron’s private ranch, which is located on the borders of the Everglades, sometime in or around 2018.

Who is Ron Bergeron?

Ron Bergeron was born and raised in the little Florida town of Davie. His parents ran a little supermarket.

He left home after receiving his high school diploma from Stranahan in 1962 with just a few hundred bucks. He was able to work at a nearby gas station for just $0.50 an hour. After that, he took on the responsibility of looking after a coconut plantation while methodically saving money to buy his first tractor, a 1943 Ford Ferguson.

He started working in the mining and quarry industries in 1969, giving his numerous businesses the necessary resources for building highways. He was an accomplished businessman and entrepreneur by the age of 25.

He founded Bergeron Properties and Investments Corporation, a real estate firm, in 1989. Currently, this company administers a sizable portfolio of commercial and industrial properties across the United States, including some that Bergeron first bought more than 40 years ago. He was appointed by two governors and held a crucial position supervising things pertaining to the Florida Everglades during his two stints as a Florida Fish and Wildlife Commissioner.

Bergeron received the esteemed Horatio Alger Award in 2018. He has raised millions of dollars at his exclusive ranch, which includes a unique saloon designed in the 1800s and a rodeo arena, during the last 25 years.
