Noman, identified as a Brand Ambassador- Security & Operations Professional at Tiffany & Co. with 18 years of experience in luxury retail, featured teenager Liri Albag in his posts. Albag is reported to be held by Hamas terrorists for over 90 days, enduring distressing conditions.

The reported comments by Noman have drawn attention to the broader issue of increasing antisemitic incidents. According to the Anti-Defamation League (ADL), the United States has witnessed a 360% increase in antisemitic incidents over the past three months compared to the same period the previous year. This surge, totaling 3,283 incidents, surpasses the yearly counts of the last decade, except for the year 2022.

The rise in antisemitic acts includes physical assaults, vandalism, verbal or written harassment, and rallies with antisemitic rhetoric. Of the total incidents, at least 505 occurred on college campuses, 246 in K-12 schools, and 628 against Jewish institutions. Approximately two-thirds of these incidents are linked to the Israel-Hamas conflict.

The situation has prompted strong statements from the ADL, with CEO Jonathan Greenblatt expressing concern over the unprecedented threat faced by the American Jewish community. Recent incidents, including canceled basketball games, antisemitic postcards, and threats to synagogues, highlight the alarming and evolving nature of antisemitism.
