The missing 18-year-old pregnant teen, Savanah Soto, and her boyfriend, Matthew Guerra, were discovered deceased in a car at the Colinas at Medical Apartments in San Antonio, Texas, as confirmed by family members to Fox San Antonio. Soto, who was nine months pregnant and a week past her due date, had been missing since Friday.

San Antonio Police Chief William McManus, in a press conference Tuesday night, provided limited details, acknowledging the discovery of a woman and a man found dead in a car, believed to be Soto and Guerra. However, he refrained from confirming the identities of the deceased, emphasizing the complexity and perplexing nature of the crime scene. McManus indicated that detectives are treating the situation as a potential murder.

The Texas Department of Public Safety had issued a CLEAR Alert on Monday for Soto, who was last seen at her apartment complex in Leon Valley on Friday. Concerns grew due to her pregnancy and the missed medical appointment.

The search for the missing individuals involved a 2013 Kia Optima, and it was confirmed that the bodies were found in the said vehicle connected to Soto’s disappearance. The family alerted the police after discovering the car at the apartment complex.

As of now, the cause of death for Soto and Guerra remains unclear, and McManus declined to comment on the presence of a gun in the car, stating that the medical examiner needs to examine the bodies.
