A major shooting took place in Allen Premium Outlets, a shopping mall in Allen, Texas, on May 6, 2023. Nine persons were murdered, including Cindy, Kyu, and James Cho, as well as the culprit, who was shot by a police officer who was already in the neighborhood.

Who were Cindy, Kyu, and James Cho?

Cindy, Kyu, William, and James Cho went to the Allen outlet mall in North Texas on Saturday, May 6. James was 3 years old and William had just turned 6 four days earlier. The afternoon regrettably, was cut short by another mass shooting massacre that claimed the lives of 8 people.

James, 3, Cindy, Kyu, and other victims tragically lost their lives, and the family is in a state of grief. Their six-year-old son William is the only survivor of this terrible incident after being discharged from the intensive care unit. A GoFundMe is being created to help their family.

Mauricio Garcia, 33, who lived in a motel and worked as a security guard, had been established as the person behind the crime. Garcia is said to have had firearms training while serving as a security guard.

Garcia, oddly enough, had no significant criminal background. Furthermore, no motive for the shooting has yet been given.

Among the official fatalities are two more kids. Two children were also killed: Sofia, a second-grader, and Daniela, a fourth-grader. Ilda, their mother, is still in serious condition. Krista Wilson, Daniela, and Sofia’s principal called them “rays of sunshine.” An Indian engineer and a security guard who a relative described as having a “beautiful soul” were among the other victims.
