South Korean actor Youn Yuh-jung, who won the Academy Award for best supporting actress for her role in movie ‘Minari’, had a fangirl moment. While giving her acceptance speech, she was seen flirting with Hollywood superstar Brad Pitt.

In her speech, the Minari star said, “Mr. Brad Pitt, finally nice to meet you — where were you? While we were filming in person?” The Hollywood actor was also a producer in Yuh-jung’s film ‘Minari’, which was about a South Korean immigrant family eyeing towards their American dream.

After Yuh-jung flirted on-stage with the 57-year-old actor, she started trending across different social media platforms. A lot of memes have been made on the fangirl moment of the 73-year-old South Korean actor.

What Youn said in her speech is very relatable for all the Brad Pitt fans out there. She received the award by Brad Pitt himself. He also escorted her to backstage.

The South Korean actor became the first Korean actor to win an Academy Award. It was her first nomination for Oscar in her five-decade long career. Other nominees for best supporting actress category were Olivia Colman, Amanda Seyfried, Maria Bakalova and Glenn Close.
