- Brentford is a club that embodies the concept of a steady build

- This maybe a glimpse of what is to come as far as Brentford are concerned this season
So the Bees have their first goal in English top-flight in nearly three-quarters of a century.
It is the start of the new Premier League season and one team that will be most excited about it is Brentford FC. The Bees are taking on Arsenal in what is their first game in English top-flight since 1947.
Brentford is a club that embodies the concept of a steady build. Danish Manager Thomas Frank has inspired the Bees into playing expressive football, which has seen them rise from a mid-table Championship side to their inaugural season in the top flight.
Their brand of football is evident from the first game, hitting their first goal on the break against a lackluster Arsenal who are dominating possession but have no end product to it.
In the end, the Bees emerged victorious 2-0.
They will take confidence from the way that Marcelo Bielsa's Leeds United were able to keep their juggernaut rolling from the Championship to the Premier League last season, so we do not have any expectation that this West London club will make any change in the philosophy and the way they play just because they are in the top flight.
Arsenal are looking rather lackluster in their attack and they seem to be missing their enigmatic captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. Their frontline is also missing Alexander Laccazette and Bukayo Saka and its inexperience is showing with all possession in the world but nothing to show for it.
So fasten your seatbelts because it is going to be an exciting game as a neutral and maybe a glimpse of what is to come as far as Brentford are concerned this season.
