Erin Brockovich is a beauty pageant winner turned environmental activist who rose to prominence in the 1990's when she took on the gas company, Pacific Gas and Electric, over contaminated groundwater in a California town. The case resulted in a $333 million settlement.
A Julia Roberts-starrer movie based on her life was released in 2000. Though she has continued to for environmental justice, not much is known about the 60-year-old activist's life.
She will, however, be featuring in the upcoming episode on 20/20 along with her daughter, 30-year-old Elizabeth Brockovich, who looks exactly like her mother.
Erin has been married and divorced three times and has three children. Elizabeth is her only child with her second ex-husband Steven Brockovich.
