Venkatesh Iyer, born December 25, 1994, in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, is a left-handed batsman, who has been recruited by Kolkata Knight Riders for the Indian Premier League 2021. Iyer, who identifies himself as an all-rounder, made headlines when he missed a double century by two runs in a Vijay Hazare match against Punjab.
