Sanjida Islam, Bangladesh national women’s team cricketer, had so unusual and lovely wedding photoshoot that it was meant to go viral on social media.

The 24-year-old cricketer wore her beautiful dress, stunning jewellery and did not forget to carry her cricket bat to the photoshoot.

Islam, who married Mim Mosaddeak, a first-class cricketer from Rangpur, showed the world that cricket was the one who stole her heart first.

The photoshoot took place at a cricket field where Islam posed for her bridal yet sporty pictures. There was a cover drive and pull shot as well in the wedding photographs that are going viral online.

Islam shared her astonishing photos on social media after which the International Cricket Council (ICC) on Wednesday shared the viral photos from her photoshoot.

“Dress, jewellery, cricketer bat. Wedding photoshoots for cricketers be like,” ICC captioned the post.

A celebrated cricketer in Bangladesh, Islam made her international debut against Ireland in 2012 and last played for Bangladesh at this year’s T20 World Cup in Melbourne against Sri Lanka. She has played 16 ODIs and 54 T20Is in her 8-year-long international career.
