The Internet was left divided after ‘Friends‘ actor Matthew Perry posted a picture in a black shirt with the text – “Could I BE Any More Vaccinated? Get your shot and then get your shirt” – written on it. While some fans supported the actor, others slammed him for trying to profit off the pandemic.

Matthew Perry, who played Chandler Bing in ‘Friends’ shared a link to the website on his post, adding that the merchandise was available only for a limited period of time.

“Making money from a t-shirt relating to vaccines is in bad taste. Could I BE any more annoyed,” a Twitter user commented.

Some other reactions were: 

“People asking Perry to not get profited from the pandemic, I have a question for you. Who is forcing you to buy anything? Just don’t.” a user came up to support Perry.

Matthew Perry has been selling merchandise themed around ‘Friends’ as the much-anticipated reunion.

He had also put up a sweatshirt that read, “Could I be more ME?”

‘Friends: The Reunion’ will premier globally on May 27. While people in the United States will be able to watch the spin-off on HBO Max, the one-hour episode will be released on ZEE5 in India.
