Katy Perry is one of the celebrities attending King Charles III’s and Queen Camilla’s coronation.
Perry arrived at Westminster Abbey in London on May 6 with British Vogue’s editor-in-chief, Edward Enninful.

Perry’s presence sparked multiple memes on social media, including a video of the singer unable to find her seat for the event, which has now gone viral on Twitter. In the clip, Perry and Enninful crane their necks as they walk around the church looking for their seats for the coronation.

A vision in pastel, the Harleys in Hawaii singer wore a dress, long gloves, and a short-sleeved lilac jacket. Perry accessorized with a mesh fascinator, a purple flower pinned to the lapel of her blazer, and an elaborate multi-string necklace with a cross-bearing orb in the center.

Fortunately, Perry was able to locate her place in the abbey eventually. She later confirmed this on Twitter in response to the widely shared response to her first confusion.

Perry was seen agreeing to selfies with other attendees and supporters after the ceremony.

Prior to taking the stage at the star-studded event on May 7, the American Idol judge attended the coronation ceremony. Along with Perry, other American Idol judges Lionel Richie, Take That, Take That, Italian opera singer Andrea Bocelli, and Welsh vocalist Bryn Terfal will all play at the concert.

Tomorrow night’s Coronation Concert will feature performances by Perry, British musical group Take That, and fellow American Idol judge Lionel Richie.

She previously said in a statement about her performance, “I am excited to be performing at the coronation concert and helping to shine a further light on the British Asian Trust’s Children’s Protection Fund, whose work includes on-ground initiatives to fundraising, with the aim to find solutions to child trafficking,” she stated. Perry and Charles first connected at a gathering in Mumbai in 2019, and the following year he named her an ambassador for the British Asian Trust.
