Kolkata Knight Riders beat Chennai Super Kings by 10 runs in the 21st match of the Indian Premier League 2020. Kolkata Knight Riders had set a target of 168 for CSK thanks to a brilliant knock of 81 by youngster Rahul Tripathi.
CSK looked settled at the stat of their innings, but Faf du Plessis got out early, leaving his opening partner Shane Watson to carry on. Watson continued his fine form scoring another half-century, but failed to convert it to a victory for his team.
While both the teams were looking for their third win, CSK was be considered a favourite to win today’s contest after an impressive 10-wicket win against Kings XI Punjab. On one hand, Shane Watson finally found his form against Kings XI Punjab and continued it with a half-century, bowlers Shardul Thakur and Deepak Chahar too have put good performances so far.
