Lionel Messi and Argentina players sang with their fans to celebrate their 3-0 win over Croatia. The team will play in the FIFA World Cup 2022 final against whoever wins between France and Morocco tomorrow in the second semi-final of the tournament.

It’s going to be the second final for Argentina football captain Messi. This is Argentina’s sixth entry into the World Cup final overall and their second in eight years. The loss shut the doors for the 2018 runners-up Croatia. They will now be facing the loser of the second semi-final in the third-place play-off.
When the stadium started buzzing with Argentine fans’ songs, Messi looked the most delighted.

Meanwhile, an Argentine pop song has become the unofficial World Cup anthem for Messi and co. The song is called Muchachos, ahora nos volvimo’ a ilusionar by Argentine nine-piece band, La Moscas. It has been ringing out in stadiums across Qatar during the tournament and has also not escaped the Argentina dressing room.

Argentina’s embassy in Doha reported that between 35,000 and 40,000 Argentines have traveled to Qatar in the hope of witnessing their team lift the World Cup for the first time in 36 years, according to AFP news agency. It may also be 35-year-old Messi’s last tournament.
Argentina’s fans have helped to create a carnival atmosphere throughout the tournament along with Brazil and fellow semi-finalists Morocco.
