- Grande has replaced Nick Jonas in season 21 of the singing reality show
- The Voice will premiere on September 20
Taking over as the judge of The Voice season 21, replacing Nick Jonas, Ariana Grande is expected to bring in a new element to the show along with a legion of fans. With the latest official announcement about the release date of the hit singing reality show, fans can wait to see their favourite star judging some fresh talents. The Voice will premiere on September 20 and will air Mondays and Tuesdays on NBC.
The Blind Auditions of the show commenced on June 21, thus marking the beginning of season 21. The coaches Blake Shelton, Kelly Clarkson, John Legend and newcomer Grande were all present together on the set, ready to film. According to E! News, the eyewitnesses were quite happy and satisfied with the 'sweet' behaviour of Grande. "Ariana was so fun and sweet," said an eyewitness.
"She was interacting with the fans so much and was having the cutest moments on and off camera with the coaches. She was so sweet to anyone who came up to her from the production team, as well. Ariana and Kelly Clarkson were talking selfies. It was so cute,” added the eyewitness.
With the judges, the onlooker said that they "are so funny together." When asked about Grande's and Shelton's equation, the eyewitness said, "She was fitting in so well already." Another bystander said, "Grande seemed excited and interested in how everything worked." Another onlooker added that the three judges "seemed completely welcoming towards her," though they did clown on her a couple times, but roasting banter among the coaches is a staple on the NBC singing competition.
"At one point, Ariana was gushing with one fan over In the Heights," said an eyewitness. "Ariana also had a cute little lunchbox filled with goodies for whoever chose to be on her team. She was so excited to hand them out," another eyewitness told E! News.
Earlier this year, Grande said in a press meet, "I have been a huge fan of the show for such a long time. I can't wait to go head-to-head with the incredible coaches, get to know these new artists and help to take their craft to the next level."
