On Wednesday, Babu Nalawade, who is a cricketer from Pune died on the pitch while he was batting as he collapsed due to a heart attack. Nalawade was instantly taken to hospital, but was declared dead by the hospital as soon as he reached.
He initially felt uneasy and knelt down at the non striker’s end but later on after a few seconds, he collapsed on the ground.

On February 17, a match was being played between Jambuth Sangh and Ojhar Sangh. After the incident took place, the family and friends are not able to believe that he was no more. Nalawade was on the non striker end when he suffered the attack. The incident took place during a local tournament organised in Jadhavwadi village.
The officials said that the autopsy has confirmed about heart attack.
