In case there were not enough cute, heartwarming animal
videos on the internet, there’s one more. In a video shared on Twitter by the
Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, elephant calf Lapa is seen in a playful mood, running
around and trumpeting alongside a group of older elephants, and at one point,
proceeding towards the camera.
Kenya’s Tsavo East National Park, where the Sheldrick
Wildlife Trust’s Field Headquarter is based, is reportedly where the video has
been shot.

Swinging its head sideways and running through the muddy
ground, Lapa is seen trumpeting to the best of its ability, and curiously
coming towards the camera before running away, all the while supervised by a
group of older elephants.
“Little Lapa is in a playful mood – sound on to hear his
tiny trumpets! He is one of 38 calves born to orphans we have successfully
rescued, reintegrated and returned to the wild,” the Trust captioned the video.
The clip received more than 12,000 views and close to 2,500
likes on Twitter, as well as appreciative comments from users who found his
shenanigans irresistible.

for when I was a sitter. So full of sass and beans! #Protectwhatyoulove
