As soon as Delhi%u2019s Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal announced a six day lockdown to curb the cases of COVID-19 in Delhi, the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation Limited (DMRC) issued new timings of the metro.
DMRC said that the services will be available from 7am to 11am in the morning and 4pm to 8pm in the evening and the frequency will be 15 minutes. For the rest of the day the metro services will be available with a frequency of 30 minutes.

DMRC further added that metro%u2019s will be available only by the exempted category of people as per the latest government orders on the production of the valid IDs.
The DMRC notice also added that during this period metro travel will be allowed only up to 50% seating capacity and no standing passengers will be allowed.
