HIV%20can%20be%20transmitted%20with%20coming%20into%20contact%20with%20infected%20blood%20either%20by%20physical%20contact%20or%20blood%20transfusion.
It%20is%20be%20transmitted%20sexually%20from%20one%20person%20to%20another.
It%20can%20also%20be%20passed%20on%20from%20the%20mother%20to%20her%20child%20during%20pregnancy%2C%20childbirth%20or%20breast-feeding.
It%20can%20be%20caused%20by%20sharing%20needles.%20Sharing%20contaminated%20IV%20drug%20paraphernalia%20%28needles%20and%20syringes%29%20puts%20people%20at%20high%20risk%20of%20HIV%20.

Currently%2C%20there%20is%20no%20cure%20for%20HIV/AIDS%20but%20medications%20can%20see%20slow%20progress%20of%20the%20disease.%26nbsp%3B

HOW%20TO%20PREVENT%20THE%20INFECTION%3F%26nbsp%3B%3Cbr%3E1.%20Do%20not%20have%20unprotected%20sexual%20intercourse.%20Risk%20of%20HIV%20increases%20if%20you%20have%20multiple%20sexual%20partners.%3Cbr%3E2.%20Use%20treatment%20as%20prevention%20%28TasP%29%3Cstrong%3E.%3C/strong%3E%20If%20you%27re%20living%20with%20HIV%2C%20taking%20HIV%20medication%20can%20keep%20your%20partner%20from%20becoming%20infected%20with%20the%20virus.
