The Alziadna family members, including Yosef, Bilal, Hamza, and Aisha, were kidnapped by Hamas terrorists on October 7 and taken to the Gaza Strip. The family learned about the kidnapping through a video showing the terrorists abducting Bilal and Hamza. After 23 days of uncertainty, the Israeli army provided another video confirming the four family members were being held by terrorists in Gaza. Yosef, a father of 18 children and grandfather, played a crucial role as the family’s main provider, working at Kibbutz Hulit for 17 years.

The situation has taken a toll on the family, with Ali, Yosef’s brother, expressing the anguish and anxiety they experienced during the period when the fate of the kidnapped family members was unknown.
