Jimmy Donaldson, better known by the name MrBeast, asked Elon Musk on Friday if he could be the next Twitter CEO after Musk. The billionaire replied to the tweet by saying: “It’s not out of the question.”

“Can I be the new Twitter CEO?” Donaldson had posted on Twitter in which Elon Musk came and commented.

On Tuesday, the 51-year-old owner of Twitter, Tesla, and SpaceX announced that he will step down from the helm of Twitter as soon as he finds “someone foolish enough to take the job”.

He had earlier conducted a poll on whether he should step down as the CEO of Twitter in which the majority said he should.

Who is Jimmy Donaldson?

Jimmy Donaldson was born on May 7, 1998, in Greenville, North Carolina. He goes by the online pseudonym MrBeast and is an American who is credited for creating a subgenre of YouTube films that focus on pricey stunts.

As of November 17, 2022, his MrBeast YouTube channel had 112.2 million subscribers, making it the fourth-most subscribed on the site and the most of any individual.

In addition to MrBeast, Donaldson also operates the MrBeast Gaming, Beast Reacts, MrBeast 2 (formerly known as MrBeast Shorts), and Beast Philanthropy YouTube accounts. MrBeast 3 (formerly MrBeast 2), which is no longer functioning, was once run by him.

Donaldson founded Mr. Beast Burger and Feastables. He is also credited with helping to launch Team Trees and Team Seas, two successful fundraising campaigns for the Ocean Conservancy and The Ocean Cleanup.

Additionally, he was among the top 10 paid YouTubers in 2020.
