According to Mixon’s official website, he firmly believes that politicians have divided Louisiana for their political advantage- “Politicians are not representing the needs of their constituents. Our infrastructure is crumbling and communities are flooding. But Senator Kennedy voted against billions of dollars to improve our roads and protect us from natural disasters. Healthcare costs are bankrupting families, yet Senator Kennedy voted to end coverage for half a million working people in our state. And we need better jobs that provide the people of Louisiana with a living wage to support their family.”
