The former Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Henry Ruggs was involved in a collision, and on Thursday, Las Vegas Metro police released a number of body camera recordings documenting their response.
After roaring down a Las Vegas street in his Chevrolet Corvette at 156 mph, the footage reveals the 24-year-old former Raiders player lying on the ground and being held by a woman yards away from the smoldering wreckage.

A person at the scene of Ruggs’ fiery collision with Tina Tintor’s Toyota on November 2, 2021, can be seen frantically trying to help Ruggs in the body camera footage that was recorded by Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department officers.
While 23-year-old Tintor and her dog, Max, were perishing in a fire only a few feet away, the man can be seen on tape repeatedly ordering a police officer to send medical help to Ruggs right away.
The friend is heard telling a cop: “I know somebody probably in there but this is Henry Ruggs right here, this is Henry Ruggs bruh. He play for the Raiders. He need help asap.”
The department shared 10 videos without any redactions. However now, the videos on news channels are blurred because of how graphic they are.
Subsequently, Ruggs was charged with five crimes for his involvement in the car accident after it was discovered that he had allegedly been driving drunk at 156 mph immediately before colliding with Tintor. Ruggs then came to an agreement with prosecutors and entered a guilty plea last week to a misdemeanor charge of vehicular manslaughter and a felony charge of DUI causing death.
Ruggs’ potential sentence under the plea deal ranges from three to ten years. According to Clark County District Attorney Steve Wolfson, he is not qualified for probation or an appeal. On August 9, a court will have the last word on Ruggs’ punishment.
