Streaming giant Netflix on Wednesday released the teaser of their next venture “The Girl on The Train”, starring Parineeti Chopra. The
20-second teaser was captioned “Join @ParineetiChopra on a train journey
like never before. Warning: Board at your own risk”.

The film is based on Paula
Hawkins’ 2015 best-selling novel of the same name and also an official
remake of the thriller film “The Girl on The Train”, which featured
actor Emily Blunt, released in 2016, reported PTI.

In the film, Chopra will portray the role of an alcoholic divorcee who
gets involved in a missing person’s probe.

The film, directed by Ribhu
Dasgupta will release on February 26 this year on Netflix, declared the
streaming giant on Wednesday along with the teaser.

Other star cast of the
film also shared the teaser including Aditi Rao Hydari who shared the teaser on
her Twitter and wrote, “Join us on a journey that you won’t forget for a
long time. #TGOTT premieres 26th February, only on Netflix”, while
Avinash Tiwari, who also featured in last year’s Netflix original “Bulbbul”
tweeted “One murder. One suspect. One mystery.This is a train that you
don’t want to miss.” “The Girl on The Train”, along with
the teaser.

The film is set in the
United Kingdom and is produced by Reliance Entertainment.
