Following India’s ban on 118 mobile apps with Chinese links, including the popular game Player Unknown’s Battlegrounds or PUBG, Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar unveiled his own mobile smartphone game, FAU-G.

The ‘Airlift’ actor in a tweet said that he is set to launch a game titled “Fearless And United-Guards” or FAU-G, supporting Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Aatmnirbhar Bharat campaign.

“Supporting PM @narendramodi’s AtmaNirbhar movement, proud to present an action game,Fearless And United-Guards FAU-G. Besides entertainment, players will also learn about the sacrifices of our soldiers. 20% of the net revenue generated will be donated to @BharatKeVeer Trust #FAUG,” the actor tweeted.

The multiplayer game, developed by nCORE games, is expected to launch by the end of October, news agency PTI reported. It will feature real-life situations faced by the Indian security forces in dealing with threats– both foreign and domestic.

The first level of the game is set in the Galwan Valley, where Indian and Chinese soldiers engaged in conflict in June.

In a statement, Akshay said with ‘FAU:G’, he is hoping that its users will learn about the sacrifices of soldiers and also contribute to the families of the martyrs, PTI reported.
