“Korg” played by Taika Waititi was the one who revived Marvel’s
Thor franchise with the 2018 hit Ragnarok. He recently said that fans should
expect the Norse god and Avenger’s upcoming fourth film, Love and Thunder, to
be “radically different than the last.”

While Speaking to Empire magazine the 45-year-old actor,
director and writer talked about it on an Instagram post he shared at the start
of June announcing that filming had wrapped. In the post, he described his work
with the cast and crew “as the craziest thing I’ve ever done.”

Taika said, “Well, just between (me and) you and the
readers, I’ve done some crazy shit in my life, I’ve lived, like, ten lifetimes.
But it’s the craziest film I’ve ever done,” he reiterated to Empire.

According to the director, what will make the upcoming
Marvel spin-off movie so wild is how he was able to secure all its important elements—
from its storyline to its amazing cast.

He further added, “If you wrote down all the elements of
this film, it shouldn’t make sense, it’s almost like it shouldn’t be made. If
you walked into a room and said, ‘I want this and this and this.’ Who’s in it?
These people. What are you going to call it? Love And Thunder. I mean, you’d
never work again. Maybe I won’t after this.”

The actor not only shared why the movie was so wild but also
revealed a bit about what fans can expect from the upcoming film, and he’s
promising a “very different” story than Thor: Ragnarok.

Explaining the same he
said, “There’ll be far more emotion in this film. And a lot more love. And a
lot more thunder, and a lot more Thor, if you’ve seen the photos.”

Thor: Love and Thunder will see actors like Chris Hemsworth,
Tessa Thompson, Christian Bale, and Natalie to name a few. The movie is slated
to release in theaters on May 6, 2022.
