Dionne Warwick has canceled her Des Plaines show due to a medical incident. The singer told TMZ that she has issues with one of her legs.

Fans got an email on Thursday saying, “We regret to inform you that the Dionne Warwick performance on June 24, 2023, at Rivers Casino Des Plaines has been canceled due to a medical incident.”

The email also stated that fans can get a refund for their tickets.

The iconic singer admitted to TMZ that she began experiencing problems with one of her legs on Thursday and that it became severe enough for her to postpone her forthcoming performance. The good news is that Dionne claims she is already recovering but that she needed to take some time by herself to go back to full strength. However, Dionne is still optimistic, telling TMZ that the performance would be rescheduled for a later date.

How to get a refund for ticket purchases:

Based on rivercasino.com, fans and ticket purchasers will get a full refund automatically issued by E-tix. According to the E-tic website, “Etix will issue refunds only if an event is canceled in its entirety. Refunds for canceled performances include the ticket price and the per-ticket convenience charge (s), but do not include the per-order handling charge if any fees are collected for a chosen delivery option.”

According to Des Plains Theatre, Dionne Warwick is a six-time Grammy Award-winning music legend who has sold more than 100 million records and had more than 75 singles reach the top of the charts. Burt Bacharach and Hal David contributed to her discovery in 1961, and she went on to record 18 Top 100 hits in a row.
