The first Khan of Bollywood, Veteran actor Dilip Kumar has been admitted to a non-COVID hospital, PD Hinduja, for routine tests and investigation, his wife Saira Banu tweeted on Sunday. She said that has had a few instances of breathing issues due to which a team of health care staff is examining him.
The quintessential actor of Hindi cinema’s Golden Era played a tragedy-ridden character like that of Devdas, while at the same time he impeccably presented himself as an obsessed romantic lover like Salim in ‘Mughal-E-Azam’. Kamini Kaushal
According to reports, Dilip Kumar and Kamini Kaushal fell in love with each other on the sets of ‘Shaheed’ and were eventually planning to marry. But Kaushal’s brother, who was reportedly against the union threatened Dilip to break up with her sister and move on as Kamini was married to her brother-in-law.
The gorgeous lady of Bollywood, Madhubala, was said to be head over heels in love with Dilip Kumar and the duo was apparently dating for quite some time and got engaged to marry before they called it quit due to some family differences. The reported reason behind the breakup was Dilip Sahab’s ego issues. Madhubala’s father and the ‘Devdas’ actor had some differences following which Madhubala asked Dilip to apologise to his father which he apparently did not. Post which, Madhubala walked out of the relationship heartbroken.
Asma
As per reports, Dilip Kumar also married her love from Pakistan Asma. His marriage with Asma lasted for two years before they got divorced.
The lady of his life, actor, and model Saira Banu was in love with Dilip’s onscreen image since the age of 12. Their romance blossomed on the sets of Junglee after his breakup with Madhubala. Saira’s childhood love transformed into a fairytale love when she got married to Dilip in 1966. Dilip was 44 while Saira was 20 years younger than him.
