Jeremy Renner, a star of the Avengers, suffered a terrible accident over the weekend while clearing snow from his driveway on a ranch on Lake Tahoe, and had to undergo surgery.

Since then, the actor has been under observation in the hospital and recovering.

The actor recently shared a video of himself having a scalp massage while donning a plastic cap and lying in a hospital bed on the Instastories portion of his verified Instagram account on Thursday.

The video was captioned, “ICU spa moment to lift my spirits. Thank you mama. Thank you sister. Thank all for you. For your love.”

“That was the first shower in definitely a week or so,” Renner can be heard saying through his oxygen mask. “Gross,” the actor added.

The video was met with more prayers and well-wishes for the actor over social media. Twitter and Instagram users were delighted to see the actor recovering.

Video of the same event was shared on Renner’s verified Twitter account as well, with a message reading: ““A “not no [sic] great” ICU DAY, turned to amazing spa day with my sis and mama. Thank you sooooo much.”

When the incident happened, the Marvel star was removing snow from a driveway to assist family members leaving his home after gathering for the holidays, his spokesperson previously told CNN.

According to the Washoe County Sheriff’s Office’s release of the 911 call record, Renner was “completely crushed” by a snowcat vehicle during the incident.

Renner’s publicist, Samantha Mast, said in a statement, “Jeremy is making positive progress and is awake, talking and in good spirits,” Mast said a new statement released Tuesday evening. “He remains in ICU in critical but stable condition. He is overwhelmed by the showing of love and support. The family asks for your continued thoughts while he heals with his close loved ones.”
