Kanye West, or Ye, has confirmed that Kid Cudi will not be appearing in his new album, Donda 2.

Taking to Instagram, the rapper shared this news saying that Cudi is friends with “you know who” and added that “we all speak Billie language now”.

While Ye didn’t mention anyone explicitly, he tagged Kim Kardashian, his estranged wife in the post. Many believe that the ‘Stronger’ singer is referring to Cudi’s friendship with Pete Davidson, who’s rumoured to be dating Kardashian now.

However, Cudi has seemingly responded to Ye’s post with a series of tweets of his own. The singer shot off saying that they’d already spoken about Cudi’s involvement in Donda 2 weeks back. He added “You’re whack for flipping the script and posting this lie just for a look on the internet. You ain’t no friend. BYE.”

Apart from that, Ye’s reference to using “Billie language” is unclear too. He might be speaking of ‘Bad Guy’ singer Billie Eilish’s statement that she waits for people to be okay before proceeding with her concerts. This comes after Eilish paused a performance at Atlanta since a fan was having breathing troubles.

This was largely interpreted as Eilish dissing Travis Scott, whose Astroworld concert saw the tragic deaths of viewers. Ye spoke out about this saying, “Come on Billie we love you. Please apologize to Trav and to the families of the people who lost their lives no one intended this to happen. Trav didn’t have any idea of what was happening when he was on stage and was very hurt by what happened and yes Trav will be with me at Coachella but now I need Billie to apologize before I perform”.

Eilish has not apologized but cleared the air that she didn’t say a thing about Travis Scott. All she did was help a fan.
