Sajid Nadiadwala is all set to kickstart his next big project which will feature Kartik Aaryan in the lead role. The untitled project will be co-produced and directed by Kabir Khan. Kabir Khan and Nadiadwala will be seen working together again but the hit filmmaker will direct the ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’ actor for the first time.

Kartik Aaryan took to his Instagram this morning to announce that he is joining forces with director Kabir Khan for a movie based on a true story, which will be backed by Sajid Nadiadwala. Kartik captioned the post, “This one is very special. Super excited to embark on this exciting journey with one of my favourite filmmakers @kabirkhankk and #SajidNadiadwala Sir. The project will go on floors early next year”.

This happens to be Kartik Aaryan’s first big announcement after the success of his movie ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’. The actor will now be directed by Kabir Khan who has directed blockbuster movies like ‘Ek Tha Tiger’, ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’. For Kabir Khan, it will be his first film after the debacle of Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone starrer ‘83’.

Kabir Khan too made the announcement through his social media and wrote, “I’m excited to announce my next project starring @Kartikaaryan in a never before seen avatar. I will be directing this and producing it along with my dear friend #SajidNadiadwala. The film is based on a fascinating true story with a larger-than-life canvas…”. Kartik Aaryan is currently working for Rohit Dhawan’s ‘Shehzada’ co-starring Kriti Sanon. He is also working in the remake of Allu Arjun’s Telugu hit ‘Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo’. The film will be released next year on February 10. His lineup also includes ‘Freddy’ with Alaya F and Hansal Mehta’s ‘Captain India’.
