Sushant Singh Rajput was a Hindi film actor who started his acting career in Television.
He began his acting career with a couple of television shows at Balaji Telefilms. One of them was Pavitra Rishta which turned out to be a massive success for the actor.
Sushant entered the television industry through Ekta Kapoor’s TV show Kis Desh Mein Hai Meraa Dil. He played the role of Preet Singh Juneja, stepbrother of protagonist Prem Juneja Harshad Chopda.
Ekta Kapoor again proposed his name as the male lead in Pavitra Rishta. Initially, the channel was not convinced but Ekta Kapoor managed to convince the production team to take him to play Manav Deshmukh on the show.

After a successful career of 7 years in Bollywood, the 34-year-old actor was found hanging at his Bandra apartment in the afternoon of June 202. The investigative team arrested his girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty three months later for allegedly procuring drugs.
