During a segment in the show, Karan Johar asked Kriti about her contemporaries. He said, “What about envy or competition or jealousy sometimes with your contemporaries? Is there a sense of ‘I need to do it’ and look beyond your shoulder and do better than her. There is so much chatter about Alia being the best actor in the country. Is there an acceptance at your level or is it also driving you to get there yourself?”

Kriti replied saying that she has always been inspired by Alia Bhatt and others. She said that she isn’t still called the best actor in the country because she is not getting enough good opportunities. She said, “Of course, it drives me, inspires me to do better when I see great work…,” Karan further added, “like Gangubai Kathiawadi.”

Kriti agreed with him and said, “Yea, you also feel that I’d love to have an opportunity like that. I feel like Mimi, as an opportunity when it came to me, it gave me the confidence to put so much into that film. When I watch Alia or some amazing actors, I feel I need to get better at what I’m doing. So that’s always there.”

Apart from the conversations about work and life, the duo also participated in the quiz segment at the end of the episode. Karan asked Kriti and Tiger Shroff, “Name any actor who has played Amitabh Bachchan’s lover and mother?” To which Kriti replied, “Yeah I’m not very sure,” Tiger Shroff gave a hilarious answer and said “Rekha ma’am?” The answer made both Kriti and Karan Johar laugh.
