Actor Sidharth Shukla‘s sudden and untimely demise on Thursday triggered a swift study of his earlier post on Twitter and dug up a four-year-old tweet in which the actor talked about his idea of death. The tweet that was published on October 24, 2017, read, “Death is not the greatest loss in life. The greatest loss is what dies inside of us while we live…..”

Actor Sidharth Shukla, best known for his longest-running Colors TV show ‘Balika Vadhu’ died this morning in Mumbai’s Cooper Hospital. According to PTI, the cause of his death was a heart attack. 

Shukla’s ‘Balika Vadhu’ co-star Avika Gor reacted to the news and called it unbelievable.

“It’s just so unbelievable. He was kind and an amazing soul. Though I haven’t met him too many times, he was sweet and a pure-hearted gentleman. Prayers for his soul and his family gone too soon,” Gor wrote on social media.

Fans and colleagues of Sidharth Shukla, who enjoyed a huge fan following and became a household name after winning Bigg Boss 13, were left in shock and expressed their condolences to the family.

Celebrities like Tisca Chopra, Ashoke Pandit, Kapil Sharma, Rashmi Desai among many other also reacted to the news.

Asim Riaz, with whom Shukla shared a bitter-sweet relationship also took to Instagram to pay tributes to the late actor.

“I m gonna meet you in heaven brother,” Asim wrote in the caption. 

Asim and Shukla became good friends at the beginning of the season and were often called “Jai-Veeru’ of the show. However, their bond turned sour after the first half of the season and both indulged in nasty arguments.

Shukla is survived by her mother and sister. His mother made appearances on Bigg Boss 13.

The Bigg Boss 13 winner was active on social media till about last week and posted his family pictures on Instagram handle. His last tweet, posted on August 30, congratulated athletes Sunil Antil and Avani Lekhara on their golds at the Tokyo Paralympics.
