The Narcotics Control Bureau on Tuesday arrested actor Rhea Chakraborty over drug charges in connection with the death case of actor Sushant Singh Rajput. The anti-drug probe bureau has, however, not found any illegal material in her possession.

Since the 28-year-old’s arrest, several people from the film fraternity have spoken in support of her, with many of them, including actors Vidya Balan and Dia Mirza, sharing an image which says, “Roses are red/ Violets are are blue/ Let’s smash patriarchy/ Me and you”. Chakraborty on Tuesday had worn a t-shirt which said the same lines.

Other actors including Dia Mirza, Farhan Akhtar and Jim Sarbh shared the same photo.
In a tweet, filmmaker Anurag Kashyap said, “This society, this voyeuristic world of Republic consumers , all those and there is a whole lot of them who have been the cheerleaders of this witch-hunt , all propagator of lies, I feel sorry for you. For the day the truth will come out and you will be ashamed of yourselves.”
Actor Taapsee Pannu tweeted,”She wasn’t consuming. Financing and procuring for Sushant. So in that case if he was alive he would’ve been put behind bars too ? Oh no. She must’ve forced the drugs onto him. Sushant must’ve been force fed marijuana. Yes that’s what it is exactly. We did it guys”.

Rajput, who allegedly hanged himself at his Bandra residence here on June 14, had been treated by five leading psychiatrists in the city, Maneshinde claimed.
Rhea Chakraborty was recently interrogated by the CBI probe team as she is the main accused in the abetment of suicide case filed by Rajput’s father, and also by the Enforcement Directorate in a money laundering case.
She has denied all the allegations many times.
