With the fourth episode of Money Heist ending on an unexpected cliffhanger, there has been no shortage of online predictions, making the wait for season five unbearable.

With the release of the final chapter approaching, it is time to address some of the theories that may form the crux of the show’s remaining narrative.

Here are five plausible developments for the series’ conclusion that deserve your attention, addressing the next possible casualties, story twists, and surprise character entries.

Next in line to perish

A popular theory predicts the demise of three key characters, and it is based on a sequence from Part 4 Episode 6. When Nairobi dies, the audience is whisked away to a pleasant and grassy abode. The narrative here depicts all of the characters from the heist team who have died since the show’s inception—Oslo, Moscow, and Bérlin—enjoying a nice brunch while Nairobi looks on.

Unfortunately, this is the same location as seen in the previous episode’s opening, where we also see Denver, Helsinki, and the Professor enjoying some tea and biscuits. The parallel has succeeded in persuading the internet that this is a clever ploy by the writers pointing to the deaths of these characters.

Tokyo as the narrator

A prediction that Tokyo will be the last person standing is one of the most widely accepted predictions. As a result of being captured, her solemn and distressed narration recounts the events of the entire series from her prison cell.

Alternatively, she may have been making a statement to judges after her capture in order to buy time for others to escape, as part of the París Plan.

Tatiana’s involvement

In the flashbacks depicting their relationship and wedding, Bérlin’s ex-wife Tatiana received a little too much attention. It’s likely that she’ll be an important plot point in the next chapter, especially with the gang in such disarray.

A knight in shining armour would be interesting, given that the Professor was convinced Tatiana was betraying them.

Alicia Sierra’s next move

Alicia, exposed and on the run from the law, found herself pointing a gun at the Professor in the final moments of Part 4. Internet rumour has it that there are two possible outcomes from here.

Alicia, who is pregnant and has nowhere else to go, may end up joining the gang herself. Viewers believe her singing “Bella Ciao” for the closing credits is a strong indicator of this progression.

There is also the possibility that she will direct the heist, using the Professor as bait to create a situation that best suits her interests.

Arturo and Gandía’s fates

This prediction is more of a request to the creators on behalf of the entire fandom, which despises these characters for their unforgivable antics.

Arturo Roman is probably one of the most despised characters in modern popular fiction, and his death would make a lot of sense in order to add a little sparkle to an otherwise bleak storyline.

César Gandía, on the other hand, became public enemy number one when he executed Nairobi by shooting her in the head at point-blank range and was still spared. Some fans, however, believe that the Professor requires him to be alive in order for the Paris Plan to be carried out successfully.
