Ursula Corbero essays the role of Tokyo in the ‘Money Heist’ series. With the show coming to an end after season 5, Corbero talked about the last few days of the shoot and how she “couldn’t stop crying” during the filming of the finale.

Money Heist Season 5 will premiere on August 30, 2021, on Netflix. Corbero plays the role of Tokyo, she was part of the Spanish show since its beginning. She narrated the incidents that unfold in each episode.

According to the Hindustan Times, Corbero shared that she was extremely emotional during the final days of the shoot.

“I remember I couldn’t stop crying while filming every scene. There was a pain in my stomach. Because a lot of crazy things happened to me with this show,” she told Harper’s Bazaar in an interview.

She further added, “My life changed, and I feel grateful and proud. I will miss Tokyo so much, but at the same time, I think she’ll be a part of me forever.”

Corbero was surprised that she was offered to play Tokyo in ‘Money Heist’. She said, “I also love comedy. When they gave me the role of Tokyo, it was a big surprise to me, because I thought, Oh, they’ll never trust me to do these kinds of characters.”

She added, “And now, it’s just the opposite. I miss comedy and then you’re not suffering and crying. I love Tokyo, but she’s intense.”

After the filming was concluded in May, Corbero posted behind-the-scenes photos with the cast members. She captioned the post, “The end has come. What a journey. I’m gonna miss my fellas so hard. Thanks for all your love and support, I hope we made the final season you all deserve. Jarana forever #MoneyHeist.”

Corbero in an interview with the Hindustan Times revealed that she is open to star in Bollywood films. She also said that she would love to play a character in Hindi. She wished to have a professional to teach her how to say things in Hindi.
