‘Sushant Singh Rajpur starrer film ‘Chhichhore’ was awarded the best Hindi feature film at the 67th National Film Awards announced in New Delhi on March 22. The awards are for films from the year of 2019.  ‘An Engineered Dream’ bagged the best non-feature film award.

‘Chhichhore’, released in the year 2019, is a coming-of-age comedy-drama film directed by Nitesh Tiwari.

Shraddha Kapoor, Varun Sharma, and Tahir Raj Bhasin were also part of the film. The film was appreciated for its direction, acting, social message, and portrayal of hostel life in Indian colleges.

Sushant died by suicide on June 14, 2020.

Remembering Sushant on the film’s first anniversary, Shraddha shared a video on Instagram comprising a few scenes from the film, as well as BTS videos from the sets. “In loving memory… #1YearOfChhichhore,” Shraddha captioned the video.

Nitesh Tiwari too shared the same clip and captioned it, “You’ll be in our hearts forever! #WeMissYouSush,” with a broken heart emoticon.
