Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh is all set to again team up with filmmaker Rohit Shetty for comedy film ‘Cirkus’, which is based on William Shakespeare’s shortest play ‘The Comedy of Errors’, reported PTI.

The cast of the film includes actors Pooja Hegde, Jacqueline Fernandez, Varun Sharma, Siddhartha Jadhav, Johnny Lever, Sanjay Mishra, Vrajesh Hirjee, Vijay Patkar, Sulbha Arya, Mukesh Tiwari, Anil Charanjeett, Ashwini Kalsekar and Murli Sharma.

The plot of the classic play ‘The Comedy of Errors’ revolves around two sets of identical twins, who were accidentally separated at birth. 

According to a statement issued by the makers, ‘Cirkus’ will be presented by Bhushan Kumar of T-Series in association with Reliance Entertainment.

This is the third project of Singh and Shetty together after 2018 blockbuster film ‘Simmba’ and upcoming ‘Sooryavanshi’.

‘Cirkus’ will be shot in Mumbai, Ooty, and Goa. It may release in the theatres in winter 2021. 

Meanwhile, Singh has wrapped up the shooting of sports drama ’83’ and Yash Raj Films’ ‘Jayeshbhai Jordaar’.

Shetty is looking forward to the release of his much-awaited cop drama ‘Sooryavanshi’, starring Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif.
