Robert Pattinson was on ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live’ last night to promote his upcoming movie, ‘The Batman’, which releases on March 4. The actor revealed a previously unseen clip of an exchange between Batman, played by him, and police commissioner James Gordon, portrayed by Jeffrey Wright.

It shows the caped crusader and the righteous cop at the Gotham police station, looking at a man across from them, who has an injury on his face. Batman asks Gordon who he is, and Gordon replies the man’s a cop from narcotics.

The narc spots Batman who has to attack Gordon to create a distraction. Soon, Batman is on the run with cops in pursuit, and the clip shows how he makes his getaway. The clip starts from the 7:32 minute mark of the snippet from ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live’ attached below.

The Matt Reeves directed movie does away with Batman as a superhero and focuses more on Batman as a detective. Hence, we see the caped crusader in his second year, when he had to rely more on his wits and brawn than fancy devices.
