Shania Twain slipped and fell down on stage during her concert in Chicago on Saturday.

The legendary singer was singing Don’t Be Stupid at Credit Union 1 Amphitheater in Tinley Park when she slipped and lost her balance while walking across the stage. The moment was captured in a video obtained by TMZ where Twain could be seen tumbling to the floor. Despite falling hard, she kept singing and jumped back up to her feet to finish the song. The songstress did not look injured at all and did not take a break due to the incident.

Since the singer seemed to recover so fast, the audience in the crowd did not react to her falling. Twain is currently on her Queen Of Me tour. She is geared up to hit Bethel, New York, on July 3 as the next stop on her music tour.

The 57-year-old musician started singing and performing as a young child. She still is as enthusiastic about songwriting as ever. Twain told ‘The Louis Theroux Podcast,’ “My therapy is songwriting. It’s a meditative thing for me.”

She further added that her latest album, ‘Queen of Me‘ was a reflection of her “frame of mind”. She wrote the album during lockdown and she used to record to share her “fear” with her fans.

The award-winning star wrote the album during lockdown and she used the record to share her “fear” with her fans. She explained, “‘Queen of me‘ is my frame of mind. My frame of mind in writing the album, taking charge of my mood, my frame of mind choosing to stay positive in my thinking in a dark time, you know. The whole album was written during COVID. I shared, you know, a lot of similar concerns and anxiety and uncertainty and fear as everyone around the world – you know, we all shared it together.”
