Park Seo Joon is adored by K-drama fans all across the globe not just for his looks but also his portrayal of varied characters on screen. The actor is all set to have them marvel at him as he features alongside Brie Larson in an MCU production. 

On September 3, Park Seo Joon was seen leaving Seoul’s Incheon international airport for Los Angeles. His agency Awesome ENT released a statement officially confirming his casting.

The statement read, “It’s true that Park Seo Joon departed for Los Angeles earlier this afternoon after confirming his casting in the new Marvel Studios film. First, we would like to sincerely thank those of you who have shown great interest in Park Seo Joon’s new challenge.”

“We know very well that you are all very curious about what production he will star in, what his character will be, where he will film, for how long, and more. However, we will not publicize more specific details until a later time. We now ask that you cheer on Park Seo Joon so that he can wrap up his filming successfully and return safely,” the statement added.

Park Seo Joon has become the third Korean actor to enter the Marvel Cinematic Universe after Claudia Kim in ‘Avenger: Age of Ultron’ and Ma Dong Seok in ‘Eternals’. He will reportedly feature as Amadeus Cho aka Brawn, a Korean-American teen hero. 

Directed by Nia DaCosta, the film stars Brie Larson, Teyonah Parris and Iman Vellani, the film is scheduled to release on November 11, 2022.

Park Seo Joon is currently filming his upcoming movie ‘Dream’ with popular South Korean actor and K-pop idol IU. He is one of the highest paid actors in the South Korean entertainment Industry, famous across the world for his work in K-dramas like ‘What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim’, ‘Itaewon Class’, ‘Fight For My Way, ‘She Was Pretty’ and ‘Hwarang: the Poet Warrior’ among others.
