Actor
Taapsee Pannu, who is currently preparing for her upcoming biopic film on
cricketer Mithali Raj, ‘Shabaash Mithu’ shared a picture on Wednesday night
from her rehearsal session on field.

The actor
took to her Twitter and posted a picture in which she can be seen holding a bat
with a fierce look on her face. She captioned the
post, “And romance with the bat and
the ball has begun. Long way to go but a good start is half job done. This is
going to be another milestone of sorts… For our captain cool Mithali
Raj and all her women in blue”, along with the hashtags, #ShabaashMithu
and #WomenInBlue.

Shabaash Mithu,
directed by Rahul Dholakia is a biopic of Raj, captain of women’s cricket team.

The Pink actor declared
her collaboration with the biopic on captain’s birthday back in 2019. She
posted pictures with the cricketer and wished her birthday on Twitter. She wrote,
“Happy Birthday Captain Mithali Raj. On
this Birthday, I don’t know what gift I can give you but this promise that I
shall give it all I have to make sure you will be proud of what you see of
yourself on screen with #ShabaashMithu. PS_ I’m all prepared to learn the ‘cover drive’.”

Tapsee revealed the first look from ‘Shabaash Mithu’ last year. The actor was last seen in the 2020 film ‘Thappad’ and her
upcoming projects include ‘Rashmi Rocket’, ‘Looop Lapeta’ along with Raj’s biopic.
