Anupam Kher’s mother Dulari Kher’s adorable response as he sought
to return a saree given to her by his friends was captured in a new video.
Anupam shared the video on Instagram, which features himself, Dulari, and his
sister-in-law Reema Kher. “Thank you,” Dulari stated in the video.
“Jisne diya usko Bhagwan khush rakhe (May God bless the person who gave it
to me).”

“Yeh hai na yeh moti hai lekin yeh patli hai (This is a
heavier fabric than that),” Dulari replied, pointing to her saree and then
to Reema’s clothing. “Kaun moti hai (Who is fat),” Anupam inquired.
It was the saree, she said. The actor went on to say that he assumed she was
referring to herself. “Main nahi moti hun (I’m not fat, I’m fine),”
she said.

“Yeh picture banayi unhone di mujhe (The person who made the
film gifted this)?” Dulari then asked Anupam. Anupam’s response was,
“Nahi unhone toh abhi nahi di hai. Woh bhi denge (No, it wasn’t gifted by
him. Should he also gift)?” ”Mujhe apne bacche denge woh kyun denge (Why
should he present, my children will give me)?” she joked. She appeared to
be referring to Vivek Agnihotri, the director of The Kashmir Files.

Anupam asked Dulari if she loved sarees from her youth. 
“Bachpan mein tha, par tab tha nahi (I had it (liking of sarees) before,
but we didn’t have it (sarees)” she explained. Anupam further remarked,
“Paese nahi the. Ab jab paese aaye toh… (You didn’t have money then. Now
when you do have money…).” She shook her head, indicating that she is no
longer interested in sarees.

Anupam captioned the video in Hindi when he shared it “The
way she snatched the saree. My friends sent sarees to my mother and my
sister-in-law Reema. Mother should have ended the conversation by saying thank
you only. But this cannot happen. Dulari went on many topics. As she usually
does. But the end part of this video is amazing. You are likely to burst into

Meanwhile, Anupam was last seen alongside Pallavi Joshi, Mithun
Chakraborty, Darshan Kumaar, Puneet Issar, Mrinal Kulkarni, and others in
Vivek Agnihotri‘s The Kashmir Files. The film, which was released on March 11, was based
on the exodus of Kashmiri Pandits from the Kashmir valley during the 1990s.

Anupam is now filming Uunchai with Sooraj Barjatya. He recently
signed a new international show, The Son In Law, which he will star in. Reema
Sampat, Chris Sullivan, and Meera Simhan will be his co-stars.
