Heartstopper’s second season will be bringing eight fresh episodes on Netflix. Leading the cast are Kit Connor and Joe Locke, portraying the roles of Nick Nelson and Charlie Spring. These two students from Truham Boys School forge an unexpected bond that gradually blossoms into something deeper.

Who is Kit Connor?

Born on 8 March 2004, Kit Sebastian Connor is a renowned English actor. His portfolio includes appearances in notable films such as “Get Santa” (2014), “Rocketman” (2019), and “Little Joe” (2019). He also enjoyed a recurring presence in the series “Rocket’s Island” (2014–2015) and lent his voice to the series “His Dark Materials” (2019–2022). However, it was his standout performance as the high school student Nick Nelson in the Netflix teenage series “Heartstopper” (2022) that propelled him to recognition. His exceptional portrayal earned him the inaugural Children’s and Family Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Performance.

Kit Sebastian Connor entered the world on 8 March 2004, hailing from the vibrant South London Borough of Croydon. Growing up in the locality of Purley, he commenced his educational journey at Hayes Primary School in Kenley before moving on to Whitgift School situated in South Croydon. It was at Whitgift School that he pursued his A Levels, delving into the subjects of drama, English literature, and history.

Embarking on his onscreen journey at a mere eight years old, Connor took his initial steps with minor roles in various productions. These included appearances in Sky One’s “Chickens,” the television film “An Adventure in Space and Time,” and the soap opera “Casualty.” The year 2014 marked a turning point as he assumed the role of Tom Anderson in the festive comedy “Get Santa” and also portrayed the recurring character Archie Beckles in the CBBC series “Rocket’s Island.”
