Siddhaanth Vir Surryavanshi, an Indian television actor, died aged 46 on Friday, November 11. He is one of the most recognisable faces on India’s television industry. Initial reports say the actor collapsed while working out at the gym and was then rushed to a hospital where doctors tried to revive him for 45 minutes.

Who was Siddhaanth Vir Surryavanshi?

Siddhant Vir Surryavanshi was earlier known as Anand Vir Surryavanshi. The actor changed his name recently. 

Siddhaanth Vir Surryavanshi has featured in several popular TV shows such as Sufiyana Ishq Mera and Kyu Rishton Mein Katti Batti. The way he played the role of Akshay in the Zee TV show Mamta garnered him a big fan following. 

Siddhaanth has been working in the Indian TV industry since 2001 debuting with Kkusum.  

Siddhaanth has participated in Colors TV’s sports show Box Cricket League. He has also appeared in several episodes of Fearfiles and Sssshhhh Koi Hai.

He also appeared in Krishna Arjun and Kasautii Zindagii Kay. He then appeared in Zameen Se Aassman Tak. He has also appeared in television shows such as Virrudh, Bhagyavidhaata, and Kya Dill Mein Hai. On Star Plus, he played the lead role of Rishi in Grihasti.

In February 2020, he signed on to play the lead in Arvind Babbal Productions’ Kyun Rishton Mein Katti Batti, opposite Neha Marda. The show was supposed to premiere on March 31, but due to COVID-19, it was pushed back to December 14, 2020.

Siddhaanth married Ira Suryavanshi in 2001. The couple had a daughter named Diza. The couple ended their relationship in 2015. 

Siddhaanth married supermodel Alesia Raut in 2017, in a traditional ceremony at the Sri Sri Radha Rasbihari temple Iskcon Juhu in Mumbai. This was Raut’s second marriage as well and they she has a son named Mark from her first marriage.
