Alia Bhatt, the Bollywood superstar, gave birth to a daughter on Sunday, November 6. In her first Instagram post since becoming a mother, she put out a picture of lion and cubs writing: “And in the best news of our lives — Our baby is here…and what a magical girl she is. We are officially bursting with love blessed and obsessed PARENTS!!!!!”. The post ends: “love love love Alia and Ranbir”.
Alia Bhatt, 29, is from the famous Bollywood Bhatt family while her husband, Ranbir Kapoor, 40, is the scion of the famous Kapoor Khandan. The two celebrated Hindi film actors got married in a traditional ceremony on April 14, 2022.
Alia’s Instagram post is flooded with congratulatory messages.
Akshay Kumar wrote on Alia’s Instagram post: “Congratulations!!! @alia bhatt, Ranbir. No bigger joy in the world than to have a daughter. Bless you all.”
Actor Neha Dhupia wrote: “Congratulations. God bless all three of you. Biggest hug ever.”
Kapil Sharma, the Hindi stand-up comic, commented: “Congratulations mummy papa. this is the bestest gift of god you guys r blessed with lots of love to little princess god bless your beautiful family.”
Alia Bhatt arrived at Mumbai’s HN Reliance Foundation Hospital in Mumbai at around 7 am. She gave birth at 12:05 pm, according to news reports.
In October, Ranbir Kapoor’s family and some of Alia’s friends got together for an intimate baby shower in Alia and Ranbir’s home Vastu. The ceremony was attended by Neetu Kapoor, Shweta Bachchan, Shaheen Bhatt, Mahesh Bhatt, Soni Razdaan and others.
On the work front, Alia and Ranbir are currently basking in the glory of Brahmastra. Directed by Ayan Mukherji, Brahmastra stars Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Nagarjuna and Mouni Roy with the new parents playing lead roles.
Alia will be making her Hollywood debut with Heart Of Stone starring Gal Gadot.
