Craig Raymond Turner was American-Swiss singer Tina Turner’s eldest son. Tina Turner’s youngest son, Ronnie Turner has been reportedly discovered dead aged 62 in his Los Angeles home on Friday, reported TMZ. Law enforcement officers reported that they received a 911 call that claimed that Tuner was facing severe breathing trouble. By the time the paramedic team reached, he was found dead. Craig took his own life back in 2018.

Who was Craig Raymond Turner?

Craig was born on August 29, 1958, to the “Queen of Rock,” Tina Turner fathered by American saxophonist Raymond Hill. He was the eldest son of Turner to whom she gave birth at the age of 18. Craig’s siblings included Tina’s second of two biological sons, Ronnie Turner. Ronnie’s father was Tina’s late ex-husband Ike Turner. The other two siblings included Ike Jr. and Michael, Ike’s sons from a previous relationship with Lorraine Taylor.

Raymond Hill, then a Turner band member got into a relationship with the band’s new singer Anna Mae Bullock, also known as Little Ann. Little Ann was later renamed, Tina Turner. She gave birth to Craig, who later took the surname Turner after his mother married Ike Turner in 1962.

Craig became a real estate agent, working for Rodeo Realty in Beverly Hills. His biological father, Raymond Turner died in 1996.

Craig committed suicide aged 59 on July 3, 2018, at his Studio City House, California while Tina was away at Haute Couture Paris Fashion Week

“Craig was an introverted person, he was very shy, so I didn’t know either, except now when I listen back to our last conversations, I notice a change. The last few times we talked, the conversations were different, and I didn’t know that until after the suicide,” said Tina about Craig.
